My daughter has been riding at Oldmoor since she was 7.  The staff are all super friendly and welcoming and she has developed a real love for all aspects of riding and horsecare.  It's great that they're now part of The Pony Club too, as she's enjoying working towards badges and certificates.  All in all, a wonderful family atmosphere, with excellent teachers and lovely ponies and horses!  Couldn't recommend Oldmoor Farm more! Both our girls lost their nerve riding and a friend recommended Oldmoor. In August 2015 they had their first private lessons and we've never looked back, their riding abilities and confidence have improved so much they are completely different riders. Both girls are also members of the Pony Club and absolutely love it.

Having discovered horses and riding a few years back (on the wrong side of fifty) and spent a couple of years learning to stay on but not ride a horse, finding Oldmoor has been a revelation. Thanks to the understanding and patience of Katie and Kirstie (and Abbie) I now have a solid foundation in the techniques of horse control. I never imagined learning technical riding could be so enjoyable and there is always the chance to hack out and blow away the cobwebs.

My daughter has been riding at Oldmoor Farm Riding School for nearly 4 years now.  She has grown so much in confidence in that time and loves all of the horses there.  We always find the Instructors and helpers to be helpful and friendly and my mother-in-law is constantly remarking that she has never seen a stable so well run and clean! I feel confident in the Instructors abilities and the behaviour of the horses, and  that health and safety rules are well adhered to.  My daughter always comes away happy and lookng forward to her next lesson.  Thoroughly recommend this stables for anyone of any riding ability.25th February 2015. I've been riding at Oldmoor Farm for around 6 months. As a 42 year-old novice I was nervous about returning to riding (I had some lessons as a child) but the instructors at the stables are friendly, welcoming and quickly made me feel at ease. I have weekly one-to-one lessons and am gaining in confidence and ability - Abbie and I even managed a few strides of canter this week!

Riding at Oldmoor gives me one hour each week in which I truly switch off from work and home-life: focussing 100% on everything that I am taught and enjoying being outside in the fresh air. Abbie, who I ride weekly, is a joy for novices like me - she is steady and patient - which is so important when your rider is sometimes anxious. Ellie, who teaches me most weeks, is incredibly knowledgable; clear in her instruction; patient; and encouraging. I have  discoved muscles I never thought I had and have even started Pilates to strengthen my core and try to lose some weight (Abbie will be pleased!). My hour each week at Oldmoor is "me-time" and worth every penny. I leave feeling mentally refreshed, physically exhausted and wouldn't miss it for the world! Thank-you! Becks, x. 2015
